Patio & Outdoor Living Renovation in Brookshire, TX

Decking, outdoor kitchens, pergolas, and full backyard renovations designed around an existing or new pool.

Why Brookshire Specifically

Brookshire is a smaller, more rural city straddling Waller and Fort Bend counties, with larger-acreage lots and noticeably fewer HOA restrictions than the master-planned sections of Katy to its east. Growth along the I-10 corridor has been fast, but septic and well systems are still common on older lots.

Patio and outdoor-living work here is scoped around minimal HOA oversight the same way the pool itself is, so decking, fencing, and drainage are designed to clear review in one pass rather than a second round of changes.

What This Service Covers

A pool is one piece of the backyard. Patio and outdoor-living renovation covers the decking, shade structures, outdoor kitchens, fire features, and landscaping that turn a pool into a finished outdoor living space.

This also covers renovating around an existing pool: re-decking worn or cracked concrete, adding a pergola or cabana, extending a patio, or reworking drainage and grading so water moves away from the house and foundation the way it should.

Local Notes

Cinco Ranch and the surrounding Katy-area MUD communities require HOA or architectural-committee approval before pool construction starts; that approval step is handled during design, not after excavation begins. Katy prairie soil is a dense clay that holds water and expands and contracts with the seasons, which is exactly the soil movement a properly engineered gunite shell is built to handle.
